Dan’s radio career started at the age of 17 when DJ Kitch (Paul Kitchener) offered him some part time working as a Technical Operator at Essex FM. From there he went into producing and co-presenting various shows including ‘The Hot 30 Countdown’ with Chris Brooks and ‘Sunday Breakfast’ with Neil Long. Dan also mixed for the stations weekend dance show ‘Club Essex The Mix’ along side DJ Kitch, Mark Elliott and Mr Ed.

In 2004 Dan undertook three month’s intense radio training at the National Broadcasting School. The course was led by mentor Rory McLeod.

In 2006-2008, Dan worked at G-Cap London stations Capital FM, XFM, Choice FM, Classic FM as a freelance O/B (Outside Broadcast) Engineer. One of his favourite memories was working on Capital FM’s, Lights Out London and with Choice FM on the Notting Hill Carnival.

In 2007 Dan freelanced for G-Cap’s travel desk at G-Cap Headquarters in┬áLeicester Square, London. The service was set up by London travel presenter Hugh Broom. Dan worked shifts proving latest travel information to the network of radio stations. It was sadly terminated when G-Cap was brought out by Global Radio.

In 2011 Dan started presenting on community radio station Phoenix FM in Brentwood, Essex. Dan took over the Saturday night dance show Club Culture.
